Groundbreaking for “The Pavilion at Harpeth”
(Nashville, TN – May 20, 2011)
Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens and Funeral Home at 9090 Highway 100 in Bellevue is proud to announce the recent groundbreaking for The Pavilion at Harpeth, which occurred on Friday, May 13, 2011. Located on the beautiful rolling hills of Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens and overlooking a scenic stream, lake and fountain, The Pavilion at Harpeth will offer families and groups an exciting, versatile facility ideal for a variety of events.
The Pavilion will provide 2,400 square feet of interior climate controlled open space, two large heated side porches (one of which overlooks the lake and fountain), private dressing rooms, a kitchen and complete audio and video systems. The pavilion is designed to accommodate a variety of seating arrangements from a reception or bistro style to a seated dinner. An experienced Event Planner will be on staff to assist with planning all functions.
“The Pavilion was originally conceived to provide families with an alternative to the traditional funeral or memorial service. Families we serve are looking for something different. They want a time and place to gather with family and friends to reflect and celebrate the life lost. Our facility will offer options like a family breakfast the morning before a funeral, memorial services overlooking the lake, large family gatherings like barbecues and other catered events, and evening receptions following a sunset burial. We are excited to be able to offer such a facility and are honored to be a part of so many life celebrations.” said Bill Gregory, manager and CEO of Harpeth Hills. “The Pavilion, a Life Celebration Center is a perfect addition to Harpeth Hills and compliments our Life Celebration Home where we promote the celebration of life.”
With such a beautiful setting, The Pavilion will maintain a focus on providing a unique environment for celebrating all life events for both individuals and groups, including weddings, reunions, birthday celebrations and civic functions. A ribbon-cutting for The Pavilion is planned for autumn of 2011. Families, friends, and neighbors are also invited to attend the annual Candlelight Service at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens on December 3, 2011 and tour the new pavilion.
Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens was established in 1965 and offers over 75 acres of scenic rolling hills. The funeral home was built on the property in 1990 and continues to provide caring service to thousands of families in the area. GALLATIN FUNERAL HOME HAS NEW NAME AND NEW MANAGER
(Gallatin, TN – October 6, 2010) In an effort to better serve the families of Sumner County and create less confusion in our community, Gallatin Funeral Home & Memory Gardens at Crestview has a new name designed to utilize the historical cemetery name, now Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens & Cremation. We will continue to be located at 1620 Highway 109 North in Gallatin. Randolph R. (Randy) Nash, Jr. has been appointed the funeral home manager for Crestview Funeral Home. Randy is a lifelong resident of Sumner County, a graduate of Goodpasture Christian School and John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in Nashville. He has years of experience in the funeral industry having worked most recently at our sister locations, Hendersonville Funeral Home in Hendersonville, and West Harpeth Funeral Home and Harpeth Hills Funeral Home in Nashville. Randy is dedicated to serving the families of Sumner County and considers it an honor to serve the people of his community in their time of need. Randy partners with Tom Bowers, manager, and Nathaniel Holman, licensed funeral director and embalmer at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 353 Johnny Cash Parkway in Hendersonville. Together they serve all of Sumner County, having the flexibility to serve families at either location. Crestview Funeral Home offers the largest and most modern funeral home facility in Sumner County, the most convenient location with our facility right on the cemetery grounds, and we are the most economical choice, as well. We offer pre-planning options for both cemetery and funeral services and accept arrangements transferred from other funeral homes as well. With the new stretch of Highway 109 now open we have made great progress on opening our new entrance. Please take the time to come by for a tour of the facilities and see what the excitement at this location is all about. Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens & Cremation is family owned and operated by William W. Gregory. Mr. Gregory also owns Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Hendersonville, Sumner Memorial Gardens in Gallatin, Robertson County Memorial Gardens in Springfield, and West Harpeth Funeral Home & Crematory in Nashville. He also manages Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Nashville and Joelton Hills Memory Gardens in Joelton for his family. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Randy or any member of our staff at 615-452-1943.
HENDERSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS: NEW MAUSOLEUM ADDITION UNDER CONSTRUCTION - June 5, 2010
We are pleased to annouce the beginning of a new mausoleum addition. We will soon be adding exterior crypts to the right (South) of our existing Chapel of Memories. This new addition will offer both side-by-side and tandem (end-to-end) cyrpts and will be called the Garden of Memories. An adjoining area will offer ground burial family estates with monuments. Call Hendersonville today to speak with Ramona Hall or Theresa Lawton today about pre-construction savings.
In addition to the exterior crypts we will be renovating the existing chapel building. We will be removing the pews and carpet. We will refinish the floors with tile and add more interior crypts and a fountain.
An artist rendering of the new development will soon be posted at the mausoleum for your viewing.
FLOOD UPDATE - May 5, 2010
Harpeth Hills Funeral Home did suffer some light water damage from the heavy storm run off through our back entrance. Power was restored on Tuesday, but phone and email is still out today. The cemetery faired very well with only minor damage to the lower parking areas. While we work to clean up the water in the funeral home we are serving families through our West Harepth Funeral Home location.
Phones are being answered at Harpeth Hills 24 hours a day thanks to call forwarding to our funeral directors. Highway 100 is opened all the way through Williamson County and into Nashville. Please do not hesitate to call on us if you need us. We are very proud of the way our community has pulled together to help neighbors in need. God bless. |
